Chicago Human Rhythm Project will open its 19th season Saturday with its annual "Winter Tap JAMboree!" featuring the Chicago premiere of the documentary, "The Wonder Kids," the inspiring story of a tiny dance studio with big aspirations to save the art form of tap dancing. Narrated by legendary hoofer Dick Van Dyke and featuring Savion Glover, Debbie Allen and other tap greats, the film earned the grand jury prize for best documentary at the New York International Film and Video Festival in 2008. Proceeds from the event will benefit Chicago Human Rhythm Project's Leo Harris Tap Scholarship program. The show will begin at 8 p.m. Admission is $12. Information: chicagotap.org.
