Originally a student at the School of the Arts in New York, Erica loves dancing, acting and music, although she confesses to a love of roller skating - the only thing with might tempt her away from her classes, and which undoubtedly keeps her so fit!

Having been an actress since her childhood, Erica Gimpel intends on day to try camping, perhaps in Australia or Portugal, countries she visited with her mother when she was a child. But whether the producers of Fame will allow this very talented actress to disappear into the wilds with a tent remains to be seen!
